This unique cedar is full and compact with a nodding top. The color is gray/green with a touch of gold. Same growth rate as an average western red cedar. Great as a specimen or as a hedge. Unfortunately, this variety never made it to mainstream production.

Sunshine Western Red Cedar
The pendulous tips of the foliage are bright gold, becoming noticeably bronze in winter. A striking specimen or hedge. Foliage does not burn in full sun as with many gold conifers. Evergreen.
